This is a simple act...

...on a traffic island where the artist is like a street vendor, acting within the spirit of our social contract and community. Instead of commercial exchange, there is cultural interchange where the ability of art to inquire and richly explore any topic is performed in a highly visible, welcoming and interactive manner in public.

Why traffic islands? They are completely public and, yet, overlooked like inquisitive dialogues.   They are also partial and temporal, fleeting, resisting any kind of attempt of perfection or total unity.  And they are in the middle of the city, highly visible and filled with all the passer-bys, pedestrian and motorized.

I feel we are all islands - in a common sea.
