Who Creates Public Space?

This project engages the community in a discussion on a series of related question about public space (what is it, how do we create it, who should create it, etc).

This is an ongoing work that began on 2/2 with the passing out of mini-postcards* from a traffic island in Echo Park that asks the community a question. The project continued on 2/9-10 at NewTown's Hugely Tiny festival. (Hugely Tiny Festival slideshow).

On March 28, Islands of LA led a discussion about the project and the use of public space at Farmlab. (Farmlab event slideshow.)
